So, today is official my last ever blog post for this year’s PDP!
I am soon to be graduating from Colchester School of Art and going out into the wider world.
Over the years I feel I have really grown as a designer. Before the course I didn’t even know how to use adobe programs! Now I am a competent user. My knowledge of Graphic Design has also grown; from it’s history, to grid layouts. I feel like I could comfortably take on a variety of briefs.
This year’s highlight was being part of the mentor me scheme with 15 Queen Street, Colchester. My mentor, Dan Sly, had helped me out in a variety of ways. He even landed me a 2 week internship in one of my dream roles in a Graphic Design studio.
I am going to miss uni but I’m also glad to be moving on with this next chapter in my life. The ultimate aim is to become a creative director in a working design studio. I will make sure to strive for this in any way I can.
Thanks for visiting!
